The event is free and open to the public. Stop by for a short visit or stay all day. Bring your lawn chairs and dress for the weather. You will see an actual log home under construction. Watch as we stack logs, fasten them together, install windows, doors and much, much more. GLH staff will be available to answer any questions you may have about the log home construction process as well as any questions you have about your own project. Bring you plans with you for a free plan review and price quote.

Dates of log raisings can change due to construction delays caused by weather and other unforeseen challenges. Please call to confirm time, dates and locations of all GLH Log Raisings. Log raisings usually run from 9:00am until 4:00pm and refreshments are provided. Grand Openings

One of the most exciting activities on the Gastineau Log Home’s schedule of events is a GLH Grand Opening. When a Gastineau Log Home dealer builds a model home they want to show it off and there is no better way to do that than by holding a Grand Opening. Sometimes GLH homeowners offer to host a Grand Opening or a GLH oak log home may be entered in a local Parade of Homes. For you it is a chance for you to see the latest and greatest that Gastineau Log Homes has to offer. Open Houses

We’re from Missouri, the “Show Me” state and we believe the best way for you to know what a Gastineau Oak Log Home is – is to see one up close an personal. So we regularly schedule Open Houses throughout the country where you can come, visit and spend as much time as you like – well, you do eventually have to go home but we are very hospitable at our GLH Open Houses.

As the name implies, a GLH Open House is a Gastineau Oak Log Home which is open to the public usually for the weekend. GLH staff will be available to answer any questions you have. If you have plans and would like a free estimate on what it would cost to build a Gastineau Oak Log Home - bring your plans and we will review them with you and provide you with a cost estimate.
 
 
 
Host Program

In addition to our Open Houses we also have a Host Program where people who own a Gastineau Log Home make their homes available for interested parties to visit. Host visits are by appointment only.
